For me becoming cheesemonger was one of life’s coincidences..

Reading Politics at Leuven University I soon found out was not going to be my calling.

Around that time an advert drew my attention: “A love for cheese…”

As a foodie since childhood I thought this could be something for me!

Descending from a family of farmers, I was privileged to have had an early education into the importance of good produce.

Fried Elsen kept the promise made with this first job; passing on his knowledge of the world of cheeses and their curing.

After 10 years working alongside this great master, I set up on my own to share my passion: cheese and exceptional produce. With special interest for the producers and the artisans whore share the same passion for their craft.
